I bought these to replace another pair just like them. After 2 years of pretty consistent fall/winter wear, my last pair were in need of replacement. I love the look and more importantly the feel of these boots. I suffer from pretty severe plantar fasciitis. These boots are extremely comfortable and help alleviate some of the pain.It could have been perfect if only the arch support is as good as the other Vionic I have.I purchased these Vionic booties to wear on a 11 day trip to Europe. I have a torn posterior tibial tendon in my foot and have trouble walking without pain. I own a pair of Vionic slippers as well as Vionic flip flops, and noticed when I wear those shoes my foot injury feels fine. So, I decided to buy these boots. My goodness, I am not disappointed! Not only are they fashionable and cute (I have received several compliments on them), they support my injured foot in a way that I don't experience pain. Its awesome! I wore the boots every day of my vacation, sometimes walking 8 to 9 miles a day.To be honest, I did end up having some pain in my foot about 7 days into the trip, but that is because I shouldn't have been overdoing it, not because of these boots.My only complaint would be the boots easily scuff and the heel has worn down already. Again, I was walking a lot on them but I would have loved to see them last longer for the high cost.If you have foot pain and want a shoe that is not only supportive but also very trendy looking, purchase these!As one who owns two pair of Vionic sandals, I love the built in arch support of their shoes. This boot also had a built in arch which felt pretty good. The shoe felt very high quality, packaged extremely well too. I so wish it would have fit me. It was a little too loose. The style was different than I expected, the toe box is well rounded but it looked a bit "Doc Martenish" to me. Almost like work boots. Unfortunately returned due to the loose fit.I love Vionics and have a closet full of them. I’m usually a 9 in flip flops, sandals and sneakers. I’m a 9.5 in close toed flats and wedges. These were too small in a 9.5. My toes were very close to the end and maybe they would have stretched a bit, but I sadly sent them back. They also were a weird color. I like the brown, but had weird darker shading at the toe that looked really fake. I really wanted to love them and maybe in a 10 would have!!I have flat feet but can’t wear my arch supports in most “business casual” footwear. These boots give me support and are comfortable in the heel too. Love these boots and I reach for them every day of the week.I love the way these boots look and feel however like many other reviewers have mentioned, there must be a design flaw with the heel. Fit is perfect in every way except heel is so wide that my foot lifts off with every step. Thick socks did not fix the issue. Extra insoles did not fix the issue. I believe this is a product design problem and since I could not find these on the Vionic website I believe that the company realized the problem and removed them from stock. I have two other pairs of Vionic boots and one pair of walking shoes. I'm a pretty strong believer in their brand but this one missed the mark. I'll be returning them and continuing my search.Super comfy. Love them but leather got really scuffed up really fast. Only had them for 2 months. The scuffs appear to be too deep to buff out. Never had this happen with any of my other shoes. Must be a cheaper material?? Would return for the scuffing problem but I imagine its too late.
