Vionic Women's Amber Orthotic Sandals - Comfortable Arch Support & Cushioned Footbed - Perfect for Walking, Travel & Casual Wear

These seem to fit nice and comfortable. The length is perfect.. The only issue is the width is way wider than normal, but ok since you can adjust the straps. Next time order this same product will get regular width.This sandals looks great, the velcro is a little tricky to adjust to size but still very comfortable. I have Vionic flip-flops, slippers and walking shoes and love this brand for my flat feet and comfortable walking.They have wonderful arch support. I have a pair that I’ve worn for a year and it is still comfortable and supportive.I had a pair of these before and I absolutely love these shoes. I’m a little chubbier than I should be so of course my feet hurt no matter where I am, what I’m doing, how far I walk, etc… so my mom gave me the first pair, they saved my life… I was on a cruise and my feet were aching and aching. She gave me these shoes and they have Velcro straps so if my feet would swell I could make adjustments as needed. They also have very nice arch supports I have a fairly high arch and my arches aren’t bothered at all. Because of the shoes I actually bought a pair of the sneakers by this company.My daughter has flat feet and these are the only sandals she can wear. They came fast, appropriately packaged, the silver is a nice color and they fit true to size. Vionic is a great brand, especially if you have foot problems. This is the 4th pair she has gotten and they last quite a while...as long as you don't abuse them...like taking them swimming and letting them float ahead of you because you think you'll catch up. They float faster than you can.I like the sandals but my feet no longer have much of an arch apparently as the arch support is too strong for me, so I will probably wear them at work where I'm seated most of the time.So comfy but so uglyI think it’s too wide.I had high hopes for these for the summer as their slippers and trainers have helped in overcoming plantar fasciitis but they have failed with these sandals. When will manufacturers learn that a wide footbed is not enough to class a shoe as "wide fitting" and that there are other things to take into consideration, like the length of the straps! Vionic please take note as you do not reply to emails! The straps need to be long enough to go across a wide foot and fasten and still allow the centre strap to be in the centre of the foot on top and not off to the side. The straps only just reach the velcro and you can see from the photo how they end up. The footbed was the right size and width but they are let down because nobody thought to make the straps long enough! Happy to help them to design something that works if they would like to get in touch!Lovely and comfortable and I am having less problem with my ankle turning in since wearing. They are not as stylish as the photo though and seem to be very wide at the front and is about 1 1/2 inches from my toe to the edge. The width is fine in the middle - look like flip flops and not very suitable for work. Velcro seems to be coming off the straps but hopefully just asthetic and they will continue to fasten. Would definitely recommend thoughI suffer from plantar fasciitis and usually get really painful feet in the evenings. These sandals are comfortable and support my feet well. I find that my feet are not painful in the evenings when I've been wearing them. Really happy with my purchase!The sandal has a wide foot bed but the straps have not been extended to allow the shoe to fit properly. If you tighten them to fit the straps then sit off centre making the shoe uncomfortable to wear. They are expensive as a support sandal, so I would have expected that this simple level of design would have been addressed. They are OK for occasional use but I wouldn't recommend a full day wearing them as they will be too uncomfortable after a quite a short time.I expected these to be the answer for my very wide and somewhat tender feet. Unfortunately they were not, the straps were very hard and the footbed is very strange, I don't like my heel in that much of a dip and I'm not sure about all those little raised bumps on the surface either, sadly had to return them.
