I am giving these a five star review, but I kind of hate them. I’ll explain.I bought them because my feet started hurting really badly, which I self-diagnosed as plantar fasciitis. No idea if I actually had it - but boy were my heels in pain. I have used these around the house for a year and a half or so, and my feet stopped hurting after about three weeks. So for that alone, they get five stars.I kind of hate them because the arch support is so high that they can be uncomfortable at times. At first I thought maybe I just needed to break them in, let the soul conform to my feet, but I’ve had them over a year and a half now, and they are still basically just like they were when I got them.I think my problem is I don’t need as much arch support as these provide. The fact that my feet don’t hurt at all anymore, coupled with the fact that the arch support has remained exactly as it was when I got them over a year ago tells me these are exactly what someone should get if they need arch support in house shoes.They are stylish, which is a bonus. And they never feel like they are going to slide off my feet, which is a big part of the reason I still use them. My feet don’t get hot in them (and I wear wool socks every day.) So far, they have held up wonderfully, and I continue to wear them almost every day. Though the arch support can be a bit uncomfortable at times, that’s a heck of a lot better than the pain I had in my heels before I started using them.Lastly, the exterior rubber sole is super high quality. I have worn them to the grocery store more than a few times, because I was just too lazy to switch to my regular shoes (I guess they can’t be too uncomfortable!) I never felt like I was out and about in slippers.They really are exceptionally well made, and work as advertised.First - these do run wide. I wear New Balance 7.5 4E shoes and read reviews. I bought these in a size 7 and they fit great. I have been wearing them for a week and really like them.We ordered the 8 and that was too big as well! Love how wide it was for those who have duck feet, :).
