Vionic Women's Hightide Comfortable Orthotic Sandals with Arch Support - Perfect for Beach, Pool, and Summer Walking

I've been struggling with a bone spur on my heel and achilles tedonitis on the same foot. It was becoming so painful to walk at all, even with other high quality footwear. I needed some shoes to wear on a trip so I could attempt to walk more actively. I'm so thankful I found these -- it made it possible for me to walk so much during my trip with little or no pain.I bought the neutral / cork color and a black pair. Love them both. I have not been able to walk this much in a while. It seems odd to me that a pair of flip flops can make walking more comfortable, but the construction of this did the trick.The foot bed is thick and absorbs a lot of shock. I have high arches and these give me no trouble. I like that the top layer of the flip flops have little dot imprints to help with traction and avoid slipping around. I only wish they came in 1/2 sizes. I wear a size 9 but prefer a 9.5 for shoes that don't have an 'edge' around my toes. Size 10s are too big for me for flip flops and the 9s worked just barely. Size 9.5 would have been better and that's my only minor complaint.If you have bone spurs, achilles problems, plantar fasciitis, etc. I would highly recommend these. They are worth the money!I now own at least 10 pairs of this brand in different styles. This review will focus on the flip flop style.Fit: Order down if you are a 1/2 size and they'll fit perfectly still. They are slightly wider than normal, but my more narrow feet fit great even when swollen to bursting levels.Support: A firm, supportive bed with a molded arch and heel cup. Even though they are firm, I can handle walking on concrete for over 6 hours without pain with this brand... in a FLIP FLOP!Style/Colors: Colors are true to pictures with tons of styles to choose from.Upper: The thong between the toes is woven fabric. The underside of the straps is a super comfy neoprene type material.I have dealt with severe sweat (100+ temp in the 99% humid south), being soaked to the bone, and sandy situations. I never slip in these, debris easily shakes off, cleaning is a breeze and they dry fast! The darker footbeds can get hot if left in direct sun in hot temps, but they are still able to be put on without pain.My 1st pair is now 4 years old and still look, fit, and feel like they did on their very first day! They do not stretch out and stay that way, but will stretch a little when needed (ie for swelling). Prices can run $30-100 for the basic flops like these. If you find a pair for $50, you've gotten a deal!I absolutely love Vionic flip flops and the platform high tide is my favorite model! My original black pair had gotten so worn that they needed replacing. As the black in my size were unavailable at my original retailer, I found them here on Amazon. They are exactly as expected and as compared to the original pair I have. I cannot recommend this product enough.Just what I needed to get through the summer! My legs hurt after wearing another style of flip flop. I've been wearing Vionic footware for about 5 years. My first pair of flip flops finally wore out and i thought i would wait to replace them until next summer but after wearing a different brand to go grocery shopping and walking the dog my legs, hips and knees hurt so badly that i ordered these that very night! Best buy!!These are very comfortable shoes. For anyone with nerve issues in your feet or planter fasciitis, these help tremendously. A local podiatrist recommended the vionic shoes to me and I have to say I’m completely convinced on these flip flops.I did what folks suggested, for Vionic toe post sandals. I normally wear 11 for slingback sandals (Vionics) but for the flip flop, toe post type I went down to a 10W and they fit wonderfully! No more slipping all over my feet! They stayed in place and looked wonderful! Will keep that trick in mind from now on. Yes, I would recommend them, bonus my partner really likes them too!These are my 3rd pair of Vionic sandals. 54 with some feet issues and these are super comfy! Bought them for a trip to Vegas and didn’t have time to break them in. No need! Walked 16k steps on day one of wearing them and they were awesome! Definitely would recommend!I'm a big fan of Vionic footwear & these sandals don't disappoint. Comfortable footbed which gives a bit more height than normal flip flops. They're described as 'leather' but look more like fabric with a shiny colourful stripe. The coloured stripe was more orange than in the pictures but that's fine as I like orange!Great pair of flip flops by vionic. I always wear vionic shoes or use vionic insoles and I find all the shoes I have bought great fit and feelBrilliant. Gives relief etc....like insoles can not. I've bought more pairs.Came as all black ... thought coloured top ... but happy with the blackI liked the colour & is very comfortable
