THE SHOES WERE RECOMMENDED TO ME BY MY FOOT SURGEON WHEN I WENT TO HIM WITH EXCRUCIATING PAIN IN MY FEET AND ANKLES. HE SAID I NEEDED ARCH SUPPORT EVERY TIME I GOT OUT OF BED AND IF I DIDN'T WANT TO TAKE THE TIME TO PUT ON SHOES, THESE WOULD BE A GREAT OPTION AS A SLIP-ON FOR THAT SUPPORT.I LOVE HOW THEY LOOK AND THE FIT THAT THEY HAVE. THE VELCRO ON THE TOP IS ADJUSTABLE FOR COMFORT. THE COLOR I PICKED IS AS GOOD IN PERSON AS ADVERTISED. I HAVE CHOSEN NOT TO TAKE A PICTURE OF ME WEARING THEM SINCE MY TOES ARE SO WONKY (TRUST ME, IT WOULD BE A NEGATIVE VISUAL THAT ONE WOULD NOT GET OUT OF THEIR HEAD AFTER SEEING THEM!)THEY ARE EASY TO CLEAN IF WORN OUTSIDE OR IF THEY SIMPLY GET DIRTY FROM BEING WORN AROUND THE HOUSE.ALL THAT BEING SAID, I WANT TO MAKE PROSPECTIVE BUYERS AWARE OF SOMETHING THAT I LEARNED. INITIALLY, THEY WERE HARD TO BREAK IN. THEY FELT STIFF AND ALMOST LIKE WOODEN SHOES WHEN I WALKED IN THEM. BUT GRADUALLY THEY BEGAN TO SOFTEN UP SO I COULD ROLL MY FOOT WHEN WALKING.AFTER A WHILE, I BEGAN TO HAVE INCREASING DISCOMFORT AND SHARP PAINS IN MY INNER ANKLES. WHEN I HAD A FOLLOW-UP VISIT WITH MY DOCTOR, HE STATED THAT SOMETIMES THE SUPPORTIVE ARCH IS A BIT TOO HIGH FOR PEOPLE WITH MY PROBLEMS. HE SUGGESTED THAT I WEAR THEM ONLY FOR BRIEF TIMES (LIKE MIDDLE-OF-THE NIGHT BATHROOM VISITS) AND USE MY OWN DISCRESSION FOR HOW LONG TO WEAR THEM IF I CHOOSE TO USE THEM FOR OTHER OCCASIONS.I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE TO ANYONE WITH FLAT FEET. THE PROS LISTED ABOVE ARE REALLY NICE AND I DON'T REGRET PURCHASING THESE AT ALL. I WILL (AND ALREADY HAVE) FOLLOW MY DOCTOR'S SUGGESTIONS AND CONTINUE TO WEAR THEM SINCE THEY ARE SO STINKIN' CUTE. BUT I ALSO WANT TO MAKE OTHERS AWARE OF WHAT I LEARNED SO THAT THEY CAN MAKE AN INFORMED DECISION. HOPEFULLY MY REVIEW WILL HELP OTHERS IF THEY THINK THE SHOE IS CAUSING THEIR CONDITION(S) TO BE MORE COMPLICATED. MODERATION, MY FRIENDS. MODERATION!I got two pairs - one with black sole and other with white.I wear them everywhere including inside the house all the time.White sole gets dirty easily and hard to clean.Black doesn’t have that problem. They are for everyday use.I've worn Vionics for years since they were Orthaheel. The medium footbeds used to be medium not medium/wide like most of them are now. I wear a true 9/Medium width. These fit perfectly and also adjustable, an extra bonus should I wear them with socks. This is my second pair. My arch was falling and I was hoping to find Vionics in Narrow which is what I wear in Vionics now. I was lucky to find these, they were on sale, and have Serious Arch Support, saving my foot. they are labeled as 9M and fit like the old Orthaheel footbeds did, true medium. I have concrete floors, they are cushiony and comfortable to wear all day. Once you fasten the velcro it does not move. I wish Vionics would make more styles in Narrow, if that's the sizing they're sticking to. These remind me of the old Orthaheels.I’m in love with Asha Keira because It’s the ONLY shoe/slipper that treats my plantar fasciitis. I’ve tried every shoe insert sold on Amazon and no other support seems to completely take away my pain so I had to wear the slipper everyday, everywhere regardless of my outfit. I’m 50 plus and still cute lol, so I’m not into caring so much about what’s on my feet at this point as long as I’m comfortable & not in pain.I will warn you that you might feel slight discomfort walking in these for the first time, as I did. The arches were too high and were a tad uncomfortable, but after wearing them for about a week, I noticed a huge difference in my heel comfort as well as found that it relieved the slight knee pain that I had. Now, I rarely wear anything else. During the fall/winter months I also wear a Vionic sneaker, which brings about 80-85% of comfort.Needless to say I have three pair in different colors and Although I recently received a Cortizone shot in my heel which has diminished the majority of my pain, I am about to purchase of fourth pair so that I can keep at work on the days that I want to wear regular shoes going into the office and also to have additional options with my outfits.I am a huge fan of the Vionic brand. However, in my experience, not all of their shoes with the “three zone orthopedic support” provide the exact same comfort, but I will wear on my size 10 wide width feet, nonetheless.I read the reviews on this slide and I concur! I love them so much! They are very comfortable!I love that they can be casual as well as a little dressy! They are perfect for traveling :)I have had these types of shoes for years, and still have the original, but wondered if new ones would feel different. They do in a good way! I did have to break them in, wearing them a short period of time for a few days, but now they are comfortable. If you have plantar fasciitis these are something you will be grateful for.I wear Vionic flip flops, so I didn’t think I’d need to “break these in,” but I was wrong! For the first couple of weeks, I regretted my purchase because these were so painful! The arch is very aggressive and your feet definitely need to get used to them. However, once my feet got used to them, they are the most amazing shoes I’ve ever worn. I use them as my indoor slippers, so when I get home, I can’t wait to put them on. I love that you can wear them with or without socks. I’ve thrown them in the washer and they dry quickly on their own. These are the best!I was very pleasantly surprised by the very comfortable molded footbed on this shoe. I have high arches and a very high instep, with a bony bump on top right at the center of my foot. Because of this, I wouldn’t consider these a good walking shoe, because the top digs into my bump.I’m sharing a photo of what my feet looked like after a 10 minute walk. Note the reddening and the little abrasion on the centers of my feet. The middle of my second toe is a bit abraded as well. I tried to adjust the Velcro and haven’t found a comfortable positioning yet, but I’ll keep trying.I’m aware that some of these issues might get better as the shoe breaks in. For now, I won’t wear them anytime I expect to walk.I love the arch support of Vionics, and these are just perfect. Excellent high, firm arch support and supremely comfortable. I also love the fact that the footbeds aren't covered in that nasty microfibre stuff, just plain plastic, so they can be wiped clean - essential IMHO for anything worn with bare feet, to avoid them getting stinky. These are great, and a great price for Vionic! I use them as house slippers, due to the look, but also the arch support is *very firm*. Genuinely feel like it's moulding my feet into correct shape. So they're painful to stand in for prolonged periods of time or walk any distance, except around the house. Only reason I've taken a star off, they're otherwise great and seem good quality too.Feel harder on the feet than the slippers and shoes I have from vionic I think I need to get used to them I have bought for the summer they still support my feet and I haven’t purchased anything but Vionic shoes since I discovered themStandard fit , UK 5.5size. Yes very expensive for indoor slipper but It does the job of supporting arch where pain in left heal is not an issue. The adjustable front is useful for swelling feet in hot weatherI have plantar fascitis and having read reviews on Vionic shoes helping plantar fascitis I thought I would give them a go. Unfortunately size 6 was too big. I sent for size 5 in the black and they fit fine. I can walk in these but not in my 'normal' shoes. I am now on a Vionic journey. Really recommend them.
